Fitment
Using the same casing as its lead-acid equivalents, the P9L is a direct replacement for Yuasa YTX14L-BS batteries. The shock-absorbing spacers included allow you match legacy battery sizes. The spacers reduce vibrations, extending the life of your battery and reducing the chances of loose terminal connections.
Battery Management System
The active battery management system balances charge to each of the cells to ensure maximum starting performance and a longer life.
Charging
If you use a trickle charger, it must be lithium capable. A standard lead-acid charger will not read the battery properly and will overcharge or try and apply a desulfation mode. A lithium-capable charger, like the Provacell HyperCharge has been designed to rapidly recharge all battery types, including lead-acid and lithium, car or motorcycle.
If your lithium battery has lost charge, just 20-minutes of charge will provide enough starting power. Allow approximately 3 hours for a full charge.
